Sleep Disorders Utilizing Advanced Biotechnology

  • Are you struggling with insomnia?

  • Feeling tired all day, even if you think you are sleeping all night?

  • Trouble focusing and staying on task?

  • Your memory doesn’t feel as good as it used to?

There are two different types of insomnia, falling asleep and staying asleep. The reason for this is found in your brain. If you have too much fast activity, your brain is working inefficiently and too hard. This keeps a person up a night, ruminating and over processing. Then, we have people that fall asleep fine, but wake up throughout the night. This is due to a lack of a sleep spindle that the brain produces. When we sleep we move up and down through stages of sleep. If we have a sleep spindle, it helps keep us asleep as the stages come back to wakefulness, then we drift back down and don’t fully wake up. If we are lacking this sleep spindle, we wake back up. Both of these can be trained with neuromodulation. In one case, a person learns how to lower there fast beta wave activity in their brain, and in the other, they learn to train up this sleep spindle, often referred to as SMR, or sensory motor rhythm, in this field. Over time the brain starts to do this on its own and your sleep becomes restful and sound. Many people improve a long list of other struggles they had once sleep is improved. This is because the brain needs a good deep sleep. Without it, symptoms associated with many things, including ADHD and memory problems, can arise. The brain will then be able to improve through proper sleep.
